For my postpartum treat, I returned back to Yummy Grill & Sushi for their omakase (leaving the selection to the chef). Since it was a long time for me without eating raw seafood, it was quite overwhelming for me, but in a good way! I felt like I was being reintroduced to my favorite cuisine again.
If you're interested in trying Yummy's omakase, go to the restaurant in November because the new expanded area that will be opening is going to be exclusive to customers who will be ordering from the omakase menu!
We were served over 20 delicious foods. The owner/chef who usually does the omakase was out of town so he trained his sushi chef, Steven, to do the preparing and presentation for him. Chef Steven said the owner does a better job than him, but we assured him we were impressed with his presentation of the foods!
