I had received an e-mail from a fellow food blogger, Michael, of S.O.F.A.T. Blog asking if I wanted to have dinner with him. I had never had an invitation from a food blogger before to go eat out, so I said yes (might as well try something new!). One of his suggestions of places to eat at was Gordan Ramsay BurGR in Planet Hollywood. I haven't been to any of Ramsay's restaurants, so I was curious to eat there and wanted to see what the hype was all about.
Since I was with another food blogger, I was compelled to take a lot of photos:
The entrance - love the ceiling! |
The screen menu in front of the restaurant |
The menu |
All menus had different photos on the back and they were souvenirs! |
Ready to eat! |
Roasted Jalapeño Poppers- All came with bacon, cheddar ranch, and one fiery surprise. Since there was four of us, one of us got the fiery surprise (this jalapeño had a lot of seeds)... And it wasn't me! |
OHH look at the cheese oozing haha |
We all shared the Kale Granny-Apple Caesar Salad- topped with parmigiano-reggiano cheese+mini herb- garlic croutons. The dressing was mild and the cheese complimented it well. Since we were all going to eat a lot of meat, fried foods, and dessert, I wanted to balance the meal with some fiber! |
Our second appetizer was Fury Chicken Wings- comes with four tangy hellfire blue cheese wings+four honey wasabi wings. I liked both of these, the sauces were quite awesome. |
The waiter left us with this iPad to look for drinks to order! |
My friend had this drink, I think it had 'super antioxidant' in the name? |
The Britannia Burger- comes with English sharp cheddar (my favorite)+mango chutney+arugula+Brioche bun |
I got the Just Fries- they're hand cut, comes with chipotle ketchup+curry ketchup. These two ketchups should be sold everywhere! They both added a nice kick to the fries. |
Me and Michael each had a our sugar fixes by having the Sticky Toffee Pudding Push Up Pops- Salted peanut ice cream in a push up pop. I felt like a kid again! I could distinctly taste the sweetness of the ice cream/toffee and the salty peanut at the same time, I loved it! |
I honestly can say this is one of my favorite burger joints in Las Vegas! Even though this place serves gourmet style food, it has a casual atmosphere so you don't have to worry about dressing ultra nice. Also the service here was outstanding, our waiter knew every single detail of the items we were interested in ordering!
