Grand Lux Cafe

If you love The Cheesecake Factory, you'll also enjoy Grand Lux Cafe (same ownership) in The Venetian. On the top pic, I had an awesome Pineapple Basil Mojito - Bacardi Superior and Cruzan Pineapple Rums, mint, basil, pineapple, and lime; on the bottom pic is the Grand Club Sandwich - roasted turkey, crisp applewood smoked bacon, arugula, tomato, mayonnaise on toast, and with fries. My favorite part of the sandwich was the arugula! It complimented the sandwich really well =)

Food Inc.

As much as I love to eat food, I think it is important for people to know where the source of their foods comes from.  Check out the documentary film,  Food Inc.  and you'll see what I mean...

Mr. Tofu

To be honest, I've passed Mr. Tofu millions of times and assumed it wasn't appealing place because of it unappealing name (sorry). When I passed by it on a Monday night there was a lot of people, I decided to give this place a chance. To my surprise it was Korean food, which I rarely eat because I never ate it as a child. I'm no expert when it comes to Korean food, but I know when I taste a good bibimbap! haha... Come check this place out! I've never seen a spoon in a cover before =] Their small and simple menu banchan Kim Chee Soon Tofu Dolsot Bibimbap

HASH HOUSE A GO GO visit #2

Hash House A Go Go has enough food to feed a third world country with their enormous servings: Sausage gravy pot pie w/ mashed potatoes Scrambled eggs with house smoked fresh salmon, basil pesto, fresh tomato and melted brie cheese Andy’s Famous Crab Cake Benny one of the One Pound Stuffed Burgers

Market Street Cafe

The California Hotel and Casino in Downtown caters to Hawaii residents, so if you go to the restaurants in this casino there'll be Hawaiian food! The breakfast and local Hawaiian food served at Market Street Cafe is my favorite. For breakfast we had eggs, eggs, and eggs! In this picture is what Anthony ate (minus the free stack of toast for everyone). To the left is egg and ham benedict with hash browns and to the right is an omelet spilling Zippy's Chili - a locals' favorite with rice.

Studio B

During the 4th of July weekend, we went to Studio B - located at M Resort Spa Casino (one of my favorite casinos off the Strip). I should've not arrived there starving because we waited an agonizing hour in line =( Alika described the area waiting in line as Hell, the area waiting to get a table after you've paid feels like you're in Purgatory, and entering the bright buffet feels like you're in Heaven! Luckily while we were waiting, the guys got everyone drinks from the complimentary soda fountains to help raise our blood sugar levels. Despite the agonizing wait, I really enjoyed their food! The seafood, mashed potatoes, desserts was awesome in my opinion. There was a huge variety of foods even though it was seafood night! They also offer free beer and wine - I think they're the only buffet in Las Vegas/Henderson to do this! Hopefully next time I go here, there'll be a chef cooking in the cooking studio (another unique part to this buffet!).
