When I found out my friend worked at Sin City Sushi, which recently opened, I wanted to check this place out for myself. I figured if my friend works at Sin City Sushi, it must be good! And I was so glad to hear that they offered all-you-can-eat sushi =) So this is what me an my dining partner and I tried...Our first roll was the Lew Roll , its topped with mushroom and scallions: The Sin City Roll - sourly good!: Teriyaki Salmon - I liked the sauce, it was light and flavorful: Japanese Lasagna - I love their version of it!: Vampire Roll - My new favorite!: Joe's Special (I think) - Tuna, avocado, and tempura shrimp is one of my favorite combos: Hamachi <3 2364 E. China Roll (formerly known as Wu's Dragon)

Wu's Dragon is my mom's favorite place for take out Chinese food . Its rare for her to tell me she likes a place because she's very picky when it comes to trying out any kind of food. Whenever she wants me to get food from there she says something like, "Ber, go order chow mein and whatever you want like from the authentic Chinese (place)!" Cambodian wedding ceremony

Last week I went to see my friend Michelle get married! It was fun and quite a learning experience to me. This was the first Buddhism wedding ceremony I went to. I listened to prayers in Cambodian and participated a little during the ritual! After the ceremony was over, the monk was given food in thanks for performing the ceremony: A display of chicken, duck, and pig: The bride posing with pig feet haha:

Namaste Indian Cuisine

On Valentines' Day, my fiancé and I ate at Namaste . I rarely eat Indian food , so it was treat eating there! We ordered the Valentine's Day Special, which consisted of four main platters. I assumed each platter would be small, but I was totally wrong! Here's some of the food we ate: Kachumber - tomato, onion, and cucumber salad with lemon and herbs. I liked how the taste of each vegetables and herbs were evened out: Vegetable Samosas - turnovers filled with potatoes and peas and I think the the potato patty in the center is aloo tiki : Left- Assorted Vegetables Grill (cauliflower, red and green peppers, grilled tofu, and parsley) with tofu Right- Tandoori Chicken : Naan - Leavened baked flat bread baked in tandoor (baked oven). Its a must have with many meals or just by itself:

Yayo Taco

When I heard from my friends that Yayo Taco served vegetarian style tacos, my fiancé (he's pescitarian) and I went to check out the place ourselves. We both ordered the UNLV/CSN Student Special which include the following: 4 tacos from the Taco Classico menu, 2 sides, and a drink. We got the same set of tacos: Veggie - roasted veggies with Red Pepper Crema, Pescado - Pollock fish in tempura beer batter with Napa slaw, guacamole, and sour creme, and 2 Camarones - beer battered shrimp with guacamole and pineapple salsa. We also had a side of fries and sweet potato fries. The 4 tacos were small, but they filled me up good! I enjoyed the taste of cremes and the batter of the shrimp and fish: myspace.com/yayo_taco

Ah BREAKFAST! My favorite meal of the day! Mainly because its reminds me of the good ol' days when my dad used to cook breakfast for me on his days off. He's a pretty good egg chef! Also whenever I eat breakfast out somewhere, I always order hash browns, I'm addicted to them.
